As from 5 April we will be replacing our ticket system with a new one. By 13 April all ticket machines will have been replaced and your old bus card will no longer function. If you have a Combination Card 31 days you can continue to use your card for travel until it is used up, together with the upload receipt or status receipt. So it is important to keep the receipt when you upload your card. If you usually pay cash or buy a mobile ticket you can continue to do so.
NEW TRAVEL CARD (RESEKORT)
You can still use a Combination Card 31 days for travel. If you keep your upload receipt with you, you can continue to use your old card until it is finished. Until 12 May you can show your old card together with a valid upload receipt.
When you have used up your old card you can upload the new Travel Card (Resekort) valid for 30 days. Just as before, you can choose county, 2 zones, municipality and 1 zone.
If at present you have a Combination Card 10 journeys or a Discount Card, you can continue to use it until 5 April. After that date these cards will be discontinued and replaced with credit (reskassa). You can upload the credit (reskassa) by any amount from 100 SEK or more. When you buy single tickets with credit (reskassa) you get a discount of 20 percent.
As from 5 April we will help you to transfer any money you still have in your Discount Card and the journeys you still have in your Combination Card 10 journeys as credit (reskassa) to your new Travel Card (Resekort).
WHERE TO CHANGE YOUR CARD FOR A NEW ONE
As from 5 April we will have a tent next to our customer service at the front of the Borlänge Travel Centre. In Falun we are opening a special card exchange office in Bergströms Galleria. Also, special card exchange buses will “tour” the county during this period. If you exchange your card in our temporary offices or on the card exchange buses you will not be charged the 30 SEK card fee!
You can also exchange your card at our regular sales locations. But then you will be charged the 30 SEK card fee for the new card.
You cannot exchange your card onboard regular buses. But if you can manage without your card for a few days you can have a special “card exchange envelope.” Then you can send us your old card and receive a new one by post.
